Steffen Bygebjerg - End Scene
Steffen Bygebjerg made this video for the song "End Scene". The track is taken from Troels Abrahamsen's album WHT.
It is his bachelor project.
In the video Bygebjerg explores how – when subjected to real-life – digital creations can achieve a higher level of texture
and how unintended, uncontrollable elements can affect the work in a positive way.
The animation work was made in Adobe After Effects.
Each frame was then printed and the print was subsequently scanned back into the computer.
The scanned frames were then assembled back into the original animation,
now with a new rugged look, created by the visit in the physical analogue world.

The Butterfly Circus - Joshua Weigel
A redemptive short film that shows the value of every human life...
At the height of the Great Depression, the showman of a renowned circus leads his troupe through the devastated American landscape, lifting the spirits of audiences along the way. During their travels they discover, Will, a man without limbs who lives out his life in a sordid carnival sideshow, far below his aspirations of the grandeur of the great circuses. Having only known a life of limitation and discouragement, Will is struck by an intriguing encounter with the showman that leaves him with a drive to hope against everything he has ever believed.
